Gordon (Guocheng) Qian is a research scientist within the Creative Vision team at Snap Research. His works focus on computer vision and creative models. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from KAUST, supervised by Prof. Bernard Ghanem. Throughout his doctoral studies, he undertook research internships at Snap Research, Meta Reality Lab, Megvii Research, and SenseTime Research. Before KAUST, he earned a B.Eng degree with top honors from Xi'an Jiaotong University. Some of his notable research contributions include foundational point cloud representation learning PointNeXt (NeurIPS), DeepGCNs (T-PAMI), and image-to-3D generation Magic123 (ICLR).
