Chaoyang is a Research Scientist in the Creative Vision team at Snap Research. He earned his Ph.D. degree from the Robotics Institute of Carnegie Mellon University in 2023, following his graduation from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2016. His primary research goal is to capture real-life dynamic moments in 3D using cameras and seamlessly integrate them into the virtual world.
