Neil's research lies at the intersection of Data Mining and Security, and focuses on online abuse and misbehavior in large-scale social platforms. His work has resulted in 25+ top conference and journal publications, in venues such as KDD, ICDM, WWW, SDM, DSAA, PAKDD, TKDD and more. Before joining Snap Inc., he worked at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Microsoft Research, and Twitch.tv.
Neil earned a PhD in Computer Science in 2017 from Carnegie Mellon University's Computer Science Department, where he was advised by Professor Christos Faloutsos. Learn more about his work here.
